Adelaide Pilar, a Texas native now making waves in Los Angeles, is a dynamic vocalist and trumpeter who seamlessly blends her Latina, Mexican American roots with her musical talents. With a Master’s in Afro-Latin Music and a Bachelor’s in Jazz Studies, she draws on diverse musical traditions to create her unique sound. Her 2019 debut album, Reflexiones De Mi Mente, introduced an infectious fusion of cumbia, funk, reggae, reggaeton, and hip-hop, while her 2022 follow-up, FREE TO BE ME, captivated audiences with singles like "Cumbia Atómica" and "Suavecito Suavecito." Adelaide has toured with Grammy-winning artists, including the Mariachi Divas and Ozomatli, and appeared on LA VOZ Mexico. She continues to collaborate with Grammy-winner Asdru Sierra, performing, recording, and contributing to projects like the upcoming musical PASAJE. Her latest album, Cumbias For Lovers, offers a fresh, groovy take on classic duets, blending Latin culture with reggae-cumbia style. Adelaide is also a private music instructor, voice coach, and Show Production Manager for the Latin Candlelight Series, excelling as a director and producer of music videos, multimedia, and live shows. Known for her fiery live performances, she captivates audiences and inspires a celebration of heritage and artistic innovation.
