Jamey Arent

Jamey Arent, a Los Angeles-based guitarist, songwriter, and singer, garners acclaim from Guitar Player Magazine as "a stunning player straddling blues, jazz, and rock."

Hailing from Denver, Jamey discovered his passion for the guitar at 12, inspired by the Beatles. His journey led him to pursue a degree in jazz studies at the Oberlin Conservatory before further honing his craft with a master's degree in studio/jazz guitar from USC.

As a versatile sideman, Jamey has shared the stage and studio with luminaries like Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Matthew Morrison, and Smokey Robinson, to name a few. His guitar prowess graces soundtracks for Netflix, TBS, and Comedy Central productions, including Netflix's Motown Magic series and Zombieland: Double Tap.

Beyond performing, Jamey is dedicated to music education, serving as an adjunct professor at the Herb Alpert Music Center and offering private lessons. He's a sought-after demonstrator for esteemed guitar brands like Heritage Guitars and Ernie Ball Music Man.

Jamey's debut EP, "The Back Burner," produced by Josh Smith, showcases his fusion of blues, funk, jazz, and soul. With guest appearances by Nigel Hall and Raquel Rodriguez, alongside collaborations with industry talents like Amber Navran and Spencer Day, Jamey steps boldly into the spotlight as a solo artist.
