Luca Pino, a masterful guitarist and charismatic performer, specializes in European hot jazz of the 1930s. Drawing profound inspiration from the legendary Django Reinhardt, Luca has spent over a decade captivating audiences with his exceptional jazz and swing performances.

Luca's illustrious career includes performances at renowned gypsy jazz festivals such as Djangofest NW in Seattle and the Django Jazz Festival in Mexico. He has also shared his expertise as a guitar instructor at Django in June in Massachusetts, where his teaching skills have earned rave reviews.

In the vibrant Los Angeles music scene, Luca has headlined numerous nightclubs and swing dance events, both as a solo artist and with acclaimed groups like Postmodern Jukebox and Lizzy & the Triggermen. As a touring guitarist for Postmodern Jukebox, Luca brings his electrifying performances to audiences worldwide. His own jazz manouche band, Pino Noir, continues to enchant audiences with their dynamic performances.

Known for his fiery technique and engaging stage presence, Luca ensures every performance is a memorable experience. His dedication to his craft is evident in his annual appearances at Django in June, where he consistently hones his skills and delivers even more impressive performances each year.

Luca's musical journey began in high school with clarinetist Kale Stiles. Together with Gage Hulsey, they formed the core of Hedgehog Swing, a band that continues to delight fans with their captivating renditions of classics like “Stardust.”

Highlights of Luca's career include debuting at Djangofest Northwest with the Eric Vanderbilt All Stars in 2017 and performing at the Walt Disney Concert Hall with Postmodern Jukebox on New Year's Eve. His talents even earned him an audition for Dancing With The Stars.

When not performing, Luca dedicates himself to mastering challenging solo guitar pieces by artists like Benoit Convert, continuously pushing the boundaries of his musical prowess.
